Jon Ritchie & That Swing Sensation enjoys a reputation for playing great dance music at weddings, events, festivals and corporate events throughout Scotland and the north of England. Clients include such well-known names as Scottish Ballet, The Scottish Parliament and Historic & Environment Scotland as well as hundreds of happy brides and grooms.

Since 2009 the band has promoted big band dancing throughout Scotland with dance nights in such diverse venues as Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom, Glasgow’s Old Fruit Market and the iconic Barrowland Ballroom, not to mention an appearance in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The band has enjoyed several television and radio appearances and was most recently seen on BBC TV providing dance music in the drama Elizabeth is Missing.
